I keep trying to finish up ms. preparation for a chapbook I'm submitting to a contest-- a small book, shouldn't take all that long. But it does take connected thought and some stretches of tranquil time to make the selections and set them in order, decide on that final order, number the pages, and print each out, time! ... which seem sorely unavailable right now, for no good reason. The deadline approaches APACE, and I must wrap the thing up and get it out. Even if nothing happens for it at this contest, my having this compact ms. ready to go out again will be very good indeed. Some press will want it.
