One member of my writer group has just published her memoir, This American Family: Growing Up as a Red-Diaper Baby. It's available via Amazon and Foot Locker under its title and makes informative reading for anybody interested in how it was in this country during the McCarthy years, when there was a commie under every bed and the threat of the atom bomb hung heavy heavy over all our heads...
