mind fuzz

Reminds me of the old days, grading papers-- what mark for each? Only the lines were clearer-cut then, with visible elements to point to, to assess marks.

How could you say if "The Wasteland" is as good as "Mending Wall"? Poets are always about something different about the thing looked at, the idea examined ...

My mind goes soggy early in reading-- I can do only three or four entries (three poems to an entry, usually) before the words lose grace, lose meaning ...

Jeanie's coming over today, to have me sign a release for one of Fred's photos of her, taken some fifteen or more years back, I remember, in her living room where Tuesday was meeting.

Not much else is happening here today-- no rain, cats go out and come back a little chilly--

Onward ...
