My roommate is Chinese; my next door neighbors are english and Japanese. I only speak a tiny amount of Japanese, so that is kind of cool; maybe I should pick up studying again, and see if we can trade some language lessons or something.
I would like very much to talk about China, but my knowledge is pretty limited. I suppose sometime I'll ask about his home town etc.

Sounds like a very interesting set-up, a neat collection of ethnicities, and, I'd assume, interests and fields of study. Should be a good arrangement for you all round. rfh
