an April Tuesday

I'd best write now, since the rest of the day will go to poetry--

This morning I was notified that two of my poems had placed in the state contest for this spring-- "So, Fame," which made Third Place in the Members Only category for short poems, and "Euclid in Yachats," a not very traditional Italian sonnet which caught an HM in Traditional Verse.

One member of Tuesday wants to attend the Spring Conference (in Eugene this time) and offered a ride, and, since I now have some winning pieces to read there, I just might take her up on it, if the offer is still open. It occurs the 16-17th of this month, so is coming soon, but I think I have time to make cat arrangements and pack, &c.

Thinking about it, anyway ...
