I did walk this morning, and did encounter Echo, the Lakeland Terrier on his walk, twice-- top of the Loop and bottom, as Nancy and I made our round. And guess what? He quickened his steps at sight of me the first time, and came as close to dancing as was possible to a dog of his years and training. That was neat, to see him getting some measure of dogly joy out of his rescued life--
