The next-door neighbor is an ongoing worry-- the one who said he would have been happy to cut the tree limbs--? He's been arrested for domestic violence and is supposed never to come to that house again, but is daily there, and runs his dogs in my yard and in the back neighbors' yard around 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. I suppose thinking no one knows he is around at that time--?
Anyway, it is an uneasy situation-- and has been for quite a while, even before you folks came down and painted my wall and did the yard and garden. That place is a rental, so I suppose it is possible things there will blow up one day soon and they will move on .... but it seems long, and edgy, in the meantime.
Ice on the roads all day today in the shady spots-- it never did melt away. Snow is in the forecast in a day or two, so that will be interesting. I went to the Garden Center today and picked up a small Xmas cactus all budded ready to bloom soon.
Is anybody there?
