Anybody's guess-- downpour, heavy overcast, bright sunshine-- guess the world is celebrating the return of morning light with Standard Time--?
Got in a walk this morning, and was greeted near the descent on the Loop's far side by an ecstatic Echo dog, who came absolutely bounding from his house, towing his person on a taut lead. It's great to be greeted so whole-heartedly by this small being, the champion show dog (Lakeland Terrier) who had been cage-bound and kennel-bound all his working life, and who now at retirement is learning to be a dog. When I first met him he had no ability to wag or respond to word or pat or gesture, but NOW-- what an exuberant little being.
I'm making good progress judging the poetry contest, and hope to get substantial work done today. Sunday-- no appointments nor things to get ready for. No needed shopping, either-- the decks seem comfortably cleared.
Onward ...
