I shared New Year's Day luncheon at a friend's house with another friend just back from looking over the scene in Palestine. It is hard to imagine life there, as every movement about the country must be carefully planned and documented, and the dangers are very real. She was still a little dazed with jet-lag and the contrast between the world she had just traveled in and the one she came home to.
Waldport weather is decent enough that we did get in our morning walk without getting rained on, and a pale sun is out this minute. Take care! Stay well!
